Exhibited at the venues of the events were books and photos introducing proud successes made by the army and people of the DPRK in the drive for the final victory in building a socialist power under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was shown.

The participants laid bouquets and flowers before the portraits of the smiling great leaders and paid tribute to them.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said that the Korean people overcame ordeals and difficulties under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and proclaimed the founding of their country, the DPRK.

He went on:

The DPRK has smashed all provocative moves of the hostile forces for a long period and constantly advanced along the road of socialism under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK, vigorously struggling for peace on the Korean peninsula and reunification of the country under the banner of Songun, is greatly encouraging progressive mankind aspiring after independence.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event.
