The message said that the glorious course covered by the DPRK is a proud history in which the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il ushered in a prosperous era unprecedented in the national history spanning five thousand years with their extraordinary ideas and theories, gifted wisdom, gigantic revolutionary practice and noble patriotic devotion, won only victories in the confrontation with the U.S. and the building of a socialist power and thus put the dignity and position of the DPRK on the highest level.

It noted that President Kim Il Sung made the Koreans in Japan emerge overseas citizens of the full-fledged independent and sovereign state, formed Chongryon with the original policy of making a switchover in the line and thus put the movement of the Koreans in Japan on the orbit of Juche.

It noted that leader Kim Jong Il called the officials of Chongryon comrades in the same trench and Koreans in Japan members of the same family and showed all paternal loving care for Chongryon, saying that he liked to do everything for it.

It said that the undying feats of the great leaders and the loving care shown by them for Chongryon and Koreans in Japan are shedding more brilliant rays thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

We will more thoroughly establish your monolithic leadership system in the organization as required by the present time when the movement of Koreans in Japan has entered a new phase together with the Juche cause, and further strengthen Chongryon into the powerful Juche-based overseas compatriots organization devotedly upholding your high prestige and implementing the instructions given by you without fail by dint of the single-minded unity of the ranks and harmonious whole.

We will conduct the 100-day campaign for greeting the conference of Chongryon branches which will be held in the historic period when the Juche cause has entered a new high stage and adorn this significant year as the year of great advance more powerfully demonstrating before the whole world the might of Chongryon which has grown under the care of the great leaders.
