The statement said the brilliant history in which the DPRK has won victory after victory would be unthinkable apart from the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il.

The statement noted that they are the distinguished leaders as they, during the whole period of leading the revolution, made the DPRK shed its rays as a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence before the world and provided the self-defensive capability to reliably defend the security of the country from the moves of the imperialists for aggression with the Songun leadership.

It said that their feats for the strengthening of the DPRK and the world revolution will be immortal.
