Present there were officials and members of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia and the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism.

Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said that since its birth on September 9, 1948 the DPRK has demonstrated only victory and glory.

The Korean army and people inflicted the first-ever big defeat on the U.S. imperialists who ignited a war of aggression to bring down the two-year-old DPRK in its cradle, and defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country, he noted.

The U.S. blustered that Korea could not rise up on its feet even after the lapse of a hundred years but the Korean people completed the rehabilitation and construction in a short span of time by the single-minded unity, rallied close around the Party, he pointed out.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group are resorting to ceaseless provocations to stifle the DPRK, he said, and went on:

Korea should be reunified by the Korean people themselves without foreign interference according to the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo set forth by Comrade Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK.

We will significantly celebrate the 68th founding anniversary of the DPRK together with the Korean people, extending invariable support and solidarity to their struggle for the prosperity and reunification of the country.
