Papers here Friday in editorials say that the founding of the DPRK was the birth of the Juche-oriented and popular independent and sovereign state, the first of its kind in the human history of nation-building, and a historic event that gave a new origin to the building of a great power.

The DPRK is the crystal of the outstanding ideas of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on nation-building and their immortal leadership exploits and immensely patriotic devotion, Rodong Sinmun notes, and goes on:

The President set forth the Juche-based line of building a government and created noble experience for carrying it out in the secret forest of Mt. Paektu. After the liberation of the country he founded the DPRK on the basis of the solid foundation for nation-building.

The DPRK was founded on Sept. 9, Juche 37 (1948) out of unanimous will of all Koreans and thereby a genuine people's state unprecedented in history was built and since then a grand era of building a rich and powerful state by the concerted efforts of the people opened on this land.

Kim Jong Il is a peerlessly elder statesman and patriot as he opened a new chapter for building a powerful socialist state and put the dignity and might of the DPRK on the highest level.

Under his guidance the Socialist Constitution shed its rays as Kim Il Sung Constitution and the state machinery with the national defence as a pivot was established in the period when the Korean revolution faced the hardest difficulties. This was a special event that enabled the DPRK to bring about changes in its appearance and boost its might in every way.

Minju Joson says that the DPRK is a socialist state of Juche shining with original idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on nation-building and their immortal exploits, stressing only victory and glory are in store for the DPRK advancing along the road of independence, Songun and socialism with confidence under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
