The general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia said that the founding of the DPRK was a significant event which declared the genuine people's power before the world. He went on:

The great Comrade Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK after the liberation of Korea as he created precious experience for building the people's power during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.

Under his wise guidance the DPRK won brilliant victory in the fierce war against the U.S. imperialists and developed into a socialist state.

The great Comrade Kim Jong Il overcame all ordeals and difficulties and firmly defended the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK with his original Songun politics.

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as a nuclear weapons state no one dares provoke as it is upholding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the top posts.

We are convinced that the DPRK will meet challenges of the hostile forces and successfully accomplish the socialist cause and national reunification.

The chairman of the Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Makerere University of Uganda said the DPRK won victories only under the wise guidance of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
