Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), made a speech there.

He said that the fellow people in the motherland have turned out as one in the 200-day campaign of loyalty, rallied close behind Marshal Kim Jong Un in single mind.

He condemned the U.S. and the south Korean authorities for introducing nuclear war hardware of different kinds for the large-scale joint military exercises for aggression and aggravating the situation on the Korean peninsula by deciding to allow the deployment of THAAD in south Korea.

He expressed the belief that the figures from all walks of life present at the reception would extend invariable support and cooperation to the activities of Chongryon for defending the education of Koreans in Japan and their life and national rights, improving the DPRK-Japan relations and ensuring the peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.
