Since the very day of the foundation of the DPRK it has shed its rays as an independent country which embodied the immortal Juche idea of President Kim Il Sung, the statement said, and went on:

The indomitable will and single-minded unity of the DPRK show that it is the powerful country guided by the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliance in national defence.

The Korean people advancing toward rosy future will shatter all the hostile moves of the U.S. imperialists trying to ignite a war on the Korean peninsula and make all the Korean people slaves.

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as a socialist power under the wise leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

We wish the DPRK bigger successes on the road of independence, Songun and socialism.
