The bulletin said that President Kim Il Sung victoriously led the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle for two decades and liberated the country and founded the DPRK, a genuine people's country, and protected the sovereignty and dignity of the country after beating back the armed aggression by the U.S. imperialists.

It went on:

For the past 68 years the DPRK tided over indescribable difficulties and ordeals caused by the ceaseless threats of aggression, blockade and economic sanctions by the U.S. imperialists. Now it is demonstrating its might as an invincible socialist power settling all the matters by its own strength despite any hardships.

Since the very day of the foundation of the DPRK the U.S. imperialists have persistently pursued hostile policy toward it. The indomitable Korean people have made world-startling miracles and feats glorifying the annals of the Korean revolution despite the desperate moves of the hostile forces.

The bulletin added that under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un the DPRK has made eye-opening progress in building a socialist power.
