It said that Marshal Kim Jong Un was elected chairman of the WPK at its 7th Congress and he set forth the blueprint for successfully building a socialist power under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and tasks for achieving independent reunification of the country and global independence.

The Korean people have turned out in the drive for implementing the tasks set forth at the 7th Congress of the WPK single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Un, it noted, and went on:

The heroic struggle and successes of the WPK and the Korean people in defending the country and hastening the building of a socialist power while shattering the persistent attempt of the U.S. and other hostile forces to apply sanctions against the DPRK and stifle it and their moves for a new war give great confidence and courage to the progressive parties and peoples who love justice and truth and aspire after socialism against imperialism.

We, taking part in the festival of Avante, organ of the Communist Party of Portugal, extend full support and solidarity to the heroic struggle of the WPK and the Korean people for building a socialist power and achieving national reunification.
