Largest-ever Quake Hits Kyongju City, S. Korea

| Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- There was an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale in Kyongju City, North Kyongsang Province, south Korea on Sept. 12, according to the south Korean KBS. Earlier, quakes measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale occurred in North and South Kyongsang Provinces including Kyongju and Ulsan. The epicenter was an inland area 8-9km west-south of Kyongju. |
