DPRK Anniversary Marked in Russia
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- A Korean photo and book exhibition and film show took place at the foreign children's literature library named after Pushkin in Sankt-Peterburg City, Russia on Sept. 9, the 68th anniversary of the DPRK.

Displayed at the venue of the event were photos showing the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

On display there were also works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, books dealing with their greatness and photos introducing the DPRK.

The vice-director of the cultural committee of the Sankt-Peterburg City hoped that he would be able to know well about the DPRK through such exhibition, film show and other colorful cultural exchanges.

The vice chief of the library said that he could realize the DPRK's development through the exhibition, hoping that the Korean people would prosper.

The director of the Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Russia said that he learned a lot of thing from the DPRK as he could see new things created every time he visited it. The DPRK is the country committed to its cause despite the U.S. sanctions and blockade.

The participants watched the Korean film "The Arch Criminal who Ignited Korean War".
