Fascist Crackdown upon Korean Scholar in U.S. Slammed

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet prosecution took such fascist action as demanding three years in prison and three years of suspension of qualifications for Prof. Kim Sang Il, Korean scholar in the U.S., on the charge of violation of the "Security Law" (SL) on Sept. 12, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

The prosecution referred him to a court, charging that he contributed to Jaju Sibo and Tongil News articles related to the national reunification and the history of anti-Japanese movement.

At the trial the prosecution accused him of getting touch with compatriots in Europe and Japan in a bid to bring the charges of violation of "meeting and communication" of the SL to him.

Kim in a phone interview with the paper denounced the Park Geun Hye regime for its serious lack of understanding of human rights.
