According to the results of the survey made of information available from the puppet Military Service Agency by a lawmaker from an opposition party, the rate of exemption from military service among public officials of four degrees and above and their children has been 29 times that among ordinary people during the recent five years.

This evasion of military service is sparking off uproar among people of various circles in south Korea.
