French Media on Tragic Plight of S. Korean Young People

| Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- The RFI of France aired a story written by its Seoul correspondent on Sept. 7, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Sibo. The number of 12-18 years old south Koreans who got away from their homes to escape family violence has increased every year, reaching 250 000 in all, the correspondent said, adding: This tragic situation is caused by the money-everything principle and hot competition. South Korea tops the world list of suicidal rate and has the lowest rate of childbirth in the world. |
