Workforce, equipment and vehicles of factories under the Ministry of Machine-building Industry were rapidly dispatched to those areas.

In particular, the Rakwon Machine Complex sent talented technicians and various kinds of equipment to the areas while striving to supply several hundred items of reserve accessories in nearly 20 kinds.

The Kyongsong Insulator Factory turned out thousands of insulators in several days and sent them to the North Hamgyong Provincial Transmission Station and the Chongjin Railroad Bureau to put on a normal basis the supply of electricity to the disaster areas.

The Pyongyang Electric Cable Factory 326 has already finished the production of electric wires needed for rehabilitation.

All employees of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, the Anju Insulating Material Factory and other industrial establishments, too, turned out in a campaign for increased production, with their strong will to contribute to turning adversity into favorable situation in the flood-hit northern areas.
