Minju Joson Condemns Japan for Its Reckless Smear Campaign against DPRK
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Prime Minister of Japan Abe and its other high-ranking officials grumbled that the DPRK's successful nuclear warhead explosion test was a violation of "resolutions" and a serious threat to Japan. It is making much fuss, flying military aircraft to measure radio-active material and making arrangements for what they called a tripartite foreign ministers meeting to slap sanctions against the DPRK and lay a siege to it.

Commenting on this ruckus, Minju Joson Tuesday says:

The Japanese reactionaries' blustering as if a nuclear bomb had dropped over Japan reminded one of playboys raving under the influence of alcohol after drinking water.

The DPRK's measure to bolster the self-defensive nuclear deterrent with which Japan takes issue is a just countermeasure for putting an end to the danger of a nuclear war posed to the former by the U.S.

That is why there is not need for Japan to say this or that over the nuclear issue.

It is the invariable ambition of the Japanese reactionaries to revive the erstwhile era of empire.

Japan is behaving like a hungry wolf. Taken aback by the DPRK's measure to bolster the nuclear deterrent, Japan is working hard to seize this as an opportunity to turn itself into a military giant and, furthermore, realize its ambition for reinvasion.

However, Japan should bear in mind that the DPRK loves peace in the region and other parts of the world and sets store by the friendly relations among countries but shows no mercy to those running amuck in their moves to infringe upon the sovereignty and the dignity of the DPRK.

If Japan truly feels fearful of the DPRK's nuclear deterrent and hopes to be safe from it, it is the best way for Tokyo to exercise prudence and self-restraint.
