Yonan Hot Spring, Listed as Korea's Natural Monument
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Yonan hot spring, located in Kumsong-ri, Paechon County, South Hwanghae Province, was listed as one of natural monuments in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

According to Kim Kyong Sun, a staff of the C.C., Nature Conservation Union of Korea, this hot spring, one km southeast of the Yonan Railway Station, has been used from several hundred years ago.

The temperature of the spring gushing from five spots stands at 49 to 60 degrees centigrade and its principal ingredients are chloride, sodium and calcium.

It is efficacious especially for chronic gastritis, neuralgia and women's disease.

In the vicinity of the spring there are sanatorium, bathroom and welfare service amenities.

Besides, Paechon County boasts of various natural monuments, including Paechon ginkgo and Paechon white-necked crane.
