He, in an article posted on the website of the Branch on Sept. 13, appealed to the world's progressive bodies and people including the organizations and personages of Latin America and Europe to give emergency aid to the residents on the bank of the River Tuman in the northern part of the country who were hit by the biggest disaster since the liberation of the country.

Thanks to the sincere support of the whole country, a vigorous campaign is in progress to recover from the flood damage in order to alleviate the suffering of the flood victims left homeless at an earliest date, he said, adding that to give positive support to them is a token of the cooperation and solidarity with the people of other country and part of the work to provide against the various potential natural disasters in their countries.
