Court Decision Demands S. Korean Puppet Authorities' Reparation for Massacres during Korean War

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Supreme Court ruled that the "government" should make reparation to the bereaved families of the victims for the massacres committed in Taegu and North Kyongsang Province during the Korean War, according to CBS of south Korea. In July 1950 the south Korean puppet army and police bestially massacred innocent civilians in Taegu and North Kyongsang Province, prisoners in the Taegu Prison, those related to the case of the Association of the Protected and many other people. According to the result of investigation made by the south Korean Committee for Settling the Past History for Truth and Reconciliation in 2007, bodies of those who were ruthlessly killed and their relics, bullet cartridges and lethal weapons used by the puppet forces to massacre people were discovered at a dead pit of the cobalt mine in Kyongsan, North Kyongsang Province. |
