Present there were officials, scientists, technicians and teachers of different units including Kim Il Sung University, Ragnang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory, Pyongyang Paint Factory, Kim Chaek University of Technology and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry.

The presentation was divided into panels of daily necessities, perfume and cosmetics and paint. Introduced there were more than 40 successes achieved in the researches into widely applying the cutting-edge science and technology to the production of daily necessities and improving the quality of products.

Drawing the attention of the participants were 300 products of over 30 varieties of high economic value and conducive to improving the people's standard of living.

Workshops also took place.

A closing ceremony was held on September 22.
