U.S. Will Face Final Doom: Russian Paper
|
|
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- The Russian internet paper Bremya Peremyon on Sept. 15 carried an article titled "U.S. should draw lesson" exposing the U.S. history of aggression against Korea. The article said: The monument to sinking of the USS aggression ship Sherman was erected on the bank of the River Taedong flowing across the center of Pyongyang, the ship that sank into the river when it intruded into Pyongyang in 1866. The intrusion of the ship was a prelude to the U.S. invasion of Korea. The U.S., far from drawing a lesson from the fate of the ship, encouraged the Japanese imperialists to invade Korea, not abandoning the ambition for aggression against Korea. The U.S. signed the "Katsura-Taft agreement" which recognized Japan's colonial domination over Korea in 1905. After the Japanese imperialists were defeated, the U.S. occupied south Korea, gravely violating the sovereignty of the Korean nation. After it suffered a disgraceful defeat in the Korean War ignited by it, the U.S. has committed the moves for invading the DPRK. Today the DPRK has a tremendous strength capable of coping with any war wanted by the U.S. The U.S. has always been defeated in the confrontation with the DPRK. If the U.S. ignites the second Korean war, it will face a final doom. |
