Present there on invitation were foreign delegations and delegates and members of the international jury who took part in the film festival.

Among those present there were Ri Ryong Nam, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture who doubles as chairman of the festival organizing committee, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, Kim In Bom, vice-minister of Culture and concurrently director of the Film General Bureau, and officials concerned.
