He congratulated the DPRK on its successful nuclear warhead explosion test, and continued:

We resolutely condemn the U.S. and Western sanctions against the DPRK rejecting the imperialist aggression and interference and struggling to realize global independence.

The DPRK conducted the nuclear warhead explosion test to consolidate its strategic position as a nuclear power.

It also made it possible to shatter the ever-increasing U.S. nuclear threat and defend peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world.

Sanctions threatening sovereignty and vital rights are an interference of internal affairs of a sovereign state and a violation of the UN Charter.

We will dynamically struggle to build a free and peaceful world, keeping pace with the just cause of the Korean people, and will never step back from this road.
