The statement said:

By manufacturing a new type high-power engine in a short span of time, the DPRK led by Marshal Kim Jong Un demonstrated that it has high sci-tech potentials and undergone rapid progress in its rocket and space development.

This success achieved by the heroic Korean people despite hideous moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK dealt a telling blow to the U.S. and its followers.

We hope the Korean people would eradicate the aftermath of the flood damage in North Hamgyong Province and register big successes in the struggle for bolstering the defence capabilities, exploring space for peaceful purposes and bettering the people's livelihood.
