In the protracted fierce confrontation between the DPRK and the U.S., the latter suffered a heavy defeat while the former achieved another great victory.

The U.S., the world's biggest nuclear power, suffered a bitter shame in the eyes of the world though it behaved recklessly, wielding a nuclear club against the DPRK.

It decisively prevailed over the U.S. in the confrontation of strength with it.

Obama is compelled to suffer the disgrace of recording another page of setbacks in the history of the U.S.

The U.S. has gone reckless in introducing its nuclear carriers and strategic nuclear bombers into south Korea and its vicinity and tightening sanctions against the DPRK but it is nothing but a bluff.

The U.S., however, should draw a lesson from the long-standing stand-off with the DPRK.

Looking back on history, the U.S. tried hard to stifle the DPRK, counting on its enormous muscle but was hit hard and sustained only setbacks in face of the latter's counteractions.

This has become an inglorious tradition and an unavoidable result. This has become constant mental agony for Washington.

The only way out for the U.S. to get rid of this agony is to reexamine its policy towards the DPRK and make a fresh start. This alone will help the U.S. save its face as a big power.

This is a good advice for the future U.S. politicians.
