Upon seeing the design of a uniform presented by officials, she personally drew up a design, saying that the uniform should be in the style of a military uniform as it is a revolutionary school uniform. She proposed letting the sleeves and trousers of the uniform wear red stripes in the clear sense that the school carried forward the revolutionary tradition of the anti-Japanese war.

An article praising her for contributing to founding of the magazine Korean Women was posted on the website of the Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea on Sept. 5.
