DPRK FM Meets His Counterparts of Different Countries

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister of the DPRK who is taking part in the 71st UN General Assembly being held in New York, separately met and had talks with the foreign ministers of Singapore, Bhutan, Thailand and Guyana, the Mongolian and Angolan ministers for External Relations, the Cambodian senior minister who doubles as minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Syrian vice prime minister who doubles as minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Algerian minister of State who doubles as minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ugandan minister of State for the Foreign Ministry.

They discussed the issue of boosting the bilateral relations and matters of mutual concern such as support and cooperation in the international arena.

Meanwhile, Ri Yong Ho separately met the president of the UN General Assembly, the under-secretary-general for UN Humanitarian Aid, the administrator of the UNDP, the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund and the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross to discuss issues of cooperation between the DPRK and those bodies.
