Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, teachers, researchers, delegations and delegates of foreign countries, international bodies and overseas Koreans and foreign diplomatic envoys here.

Certificates were awarded to the units which donated books and materials they presented to the fair.

A letter to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted.

Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairwoman of the organizing committee of the book fair, in her closing address said during the fair scientific and technical achievements of different countries were widely introduced and the participants exchanged experience in diverse fields.

She expressed the will to boost scientific and technological exchange and cooperation with various countries in the future, too.
