National Scientific and Technological Presentation and Exhibition in Field of Furniture Held

| Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- A national scientific and technological presentation and exhibition in the field of furniture were held at the Pyongyang University of Architecture on Thursday under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. Present there were officials, teachers, researchers and technicians in the fields of science, education and furniture production including the Architectural Engineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences, Pyongyang University of Architecture and the Taedonggang Furniture Factory. It heard tens of papers made in the researches to introduce the latest science and technology in the fields of furniture design, production and materials and improve the quality of goods. More than 80 designs of over 20 kinds including designs of furniture types and fixtures were presented at the exhibition, drawing attention of the participants. |
