The resistance staged in 73 cities and counties with at least 2.3 million patriotic people involved dealt a deadly blow at the colonial rule of the U.S. imperialists over south Korea and struck the pro-U.S. stooges who betrayed the nation with horror and uneasiness, the article notes, and goes on:

The resistance fighters who had turned out in the struggle to build a genuine people's regime and enjoy an independent life in the world free from aggressors and quislings were cruelly killed by the U.S. imperialists wearing the mask of "liberator" and streets of resistance were drenched with the blood shed by the resistance fighters.

Seven decades have passed since the resistance but the U.S. imperialists' military presence and domination over south Korea still persist, the people's democratic freedom and rights have been wantonly violated and national reunification has not been achieved. This is entirely attributable to the U.S. imperialists' criminal policy of invading the DPRK and the acts of treachery perpetrated by the pro-U.S. lackeys with the backing of foreign forces.

Whoever truly desires the sovereignty of the nation and peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula should turn out in the patriotic struggle of justice to drive the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces out of south Korea and deal a sledge-hammer blow at the Park Geun Hye group of traitors. This is the only way for the south Korean people to force the U.S. imperialists and their lackeys to pay for the blood shed by the October resistance martyrs and bring about a new independent world, a new morning of national reunification.
