Medical Service Brisk in Disaster Areas of DPRK
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- Medical service is now getting brisk in the flood-hit northern part of the DPRK.

According to Kim Kyong Chol, department director of the Ministry of Public Health, hundreds of medical workers from health establishments in Pyongyang and North Hamgyong Province have been active in the disaster areas as field medical service team members.

Tens of millions of medical supplies of over 400 kinds, including medicines and medical appliances, were urgently transported to the flood-hit areas and health checkup for 170,000 residents was conducted smoothly.
