The editorial said that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities chose the Songju golf links situated in Chojon-myon of Songju County, North Kyongsang Province as a site for deploying THAAD.

It said that THAAD deployment would only strengthen the alliance between the U.S. and south Korea for war, bring profits to arms dealers, push the Korean peninsula to the brink of war and create a crisis in Northeast Asia.

The editorial demanded the immediate cancellation of the harmful and dangerous plan for THAAD deployment as it poses threats to the lives, security and properties of the people.
