The president in the message said he received news that flood that hit North Hamgyong Province of the friendly DPRK recently, caused lots of damage in people's life, property, infrastructure, etc.

The message went on:

Sharing with you the sorrow over this big disaster, we express the deepest consolation to you, the government, people and victims of the DPRK on behalf of the Syrian Arab people and on my own behalf.

I express our sympathy and solidarity for the people of the friendly DPRK who suffered disaster and hope damage will be eradicated in the DPRK.

We believe that your country will overcome this ordeal and continue pushing forward construction and development under your wise guidance.
