The Korean peninsula is now on the brink of a war as the U.S. is mobilizing almost all types of the triad strategic nuclear strike means for its saber-rattling. This grave situation clearly proves once again that the U.S. is the arch criminal bringing a nuclear disaster to humankind.

The DPRK opted for going nuclear to protect its power, revolution and people from the U.S. constant nuclear war threats.

It is a stark reality on the Korean peninsula that the sovereignty of a country and the security of its people can not be protected, nor can the world denuclearization be realized as long as there is the inequitable structure under which hostile forces' unilateral nuclear threat and blackmail and war moves are allowed.

It is a legitimate independent right of the DPRK as a sovereign state to have an access to the powerful strike means against the U.S. to protect the security of the country and people from the U.S. constant threats.

The DPRK will steadily bolster up its nuclear deterrent both in quality and quantity to fundamentally defuse the danger of a nuclear war created by the U.S. and protect the peace in the region and the rest of the world.
