Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The Russian internet paper Bremya Peremyon on September 27 carried a special write-up with photos of leader Kim Jong Il visiting the Russian Federation. An article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il visiting Russia" said: During the visit to the Far Eastern Region of Russia in August 2002, leader Kim Jong Il went round St. Bishop Innokenty of Irkutsk Church, Russian Orthodox Church. There sounded a bell when he was going round the church, being briefed on history of the Russian Orthodox Church that hosts various ceremonies. At that time the priest told him "Now a bell is sounded to welcome leader Kim Jong Il. The sun has come to our church. It is natural to sound a bell when the sun has come." It was a great event in the history of international politics that leader Kim Jong Il visited Lenin Mausoleum at the Red Square in Moscow in August 2001. He visited Lenin Mausoleum to lay a wreath and pay tribute to him despite the scorching heat, saying that he would visit the mausoleum with moral sense of obligation of a genuine revolutionary, irrespective of diplomatic customs and any conditions. Not only Russians but also world people admired leader Kim Jong Il's boundless morality and sense of obligation upon the news that he visited Lenin Mausoleum. |
