Tower of Juche Idea Introduced by Italian Personage

| Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The Italian newspaper Parma Daily on September 26 carried an article titled "Tower of Juche Idea in Pyongyang" dedicated by the head of a delegation of the Italian Group for the Study of the Juche Idea who visited the DPRK recently. The article said: The Juche idea was founded by President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people. I had a deep understanding of the Juche idea during my stay in Korea. The Juche idea is the man-centered theory. The DPRK guided by the Juche idea is protecting the sovereignty of the country and nation in reliance on its strong military muscle and achieved the harmonious whole of the party, army and people. The Tower of the Juche Idea is the one of the most magnificent monuments in the DPRK. Noting the tower was unveiled in April, 1982 to mark the 70th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, the article introduced its scale, style and symbolic meaning. |
