Historical Relics and Remains Discovered in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- Historical relics and remains dating back to the primitive and ancient times have been recently unearthed in Ungsang-dong, Rason City of the DPRK.

The discoveries include a stone relic dating back to the primitive age, two dolmens and a home site dating back to the ancient age and more than 1,000 pieces of remains.

The stone relic consisting of rocks, located on the beach, is three meters high and covers an area of 80 square meters.

One of the two dolmens is 120 cm long, 84 cm wide and 60 cm deep with its flat stone 302 cm in length, 228 cm in width and 62 cm in thickness. The other is made up of two upright stones, each 100 cm in height, and a flat stone 180 cm in length, 140 cm in width and 60 cm in thickness.

Discovered at the dolmens were semi-processed stone goods and brown undecorated vessels.

Found out at the home site of new style in structure were tens of potteries and cooking site.

Those relics and remains are of weight significance in ascertaining the features of the ancient culture in northeastern Korea.
