Anniversary of October 4 Declaration Marked by Federation of Koreans in U.S.

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. in a statement on Oct. 4 said the October 4 declaration which was published in the wake of the June 15 joint declaration is a precious declaration for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The statement denounced the U.S., Japan and the Park Geun Hye regime for resorting to the vicious hostile policy toward the DPRK including war moves, smear campaign and sanctions.

It said that no one can block the reunification of Korea.

Korea's reunification should be achieved without fail under the banner of independent reunification and great national unity, it noted, and continued:

We will carry out the joint declarations despite any ordeal, convinced of the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
