Shock Brigade Movement Brisk in Flood-hit Areas of DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Young people in North Hamgyong Province, the DPRK have conducted the shock brigade movement in its flood-hit areas. The number of its participants reaches over 104 000. They have performed such great feats as restoring hundreds of dwelling houses, rebuilding railway, bridges and roads in 120 sections covering more than 110 000 meters and completing the embankment in scores of sections. Taking the lead in building dwelling houses are those in Hoeryong City, Kyongwon, Musan and Kyonghung counties. |
