Rodong Sinmun Accuses Park Geun Hye of Extolling "Alliance" with U.S.

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Traitor Park Geun Hye of south Korea recently invited brass-hats of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces present in south Korea and the U.S. ambassador in Seoul to a luncheon at Chongwadae at which she extolled "alliance" with the U.S. The day before the 63rd anniversary of the south Korea-U.S. "mutual defense treaty" she described the U.S. forces as "special friend", praising the south Korea-U.S. "alliance" as the "most successful one." She even spouted such rigmaroles that the "combined defense posture based on alliance with the U.S. is the most effective means for deterring the north" and south Korea would "further consolidate the alliance."

Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a commentary in this regard:

What Park uttered is nothing but pro-U.S. outbursts and jargons calling for escalating the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north that can be reeled off only by the traitor without an equal in the world.

The south Korean puppet forces are steeped in such worship and flunkeyism towards the U.S. that they content they cannot survive without "alliance" with it.

The Park group's call for tightening the alliance with the U.S. in disregard of the south Korean public mind-set and the trend of the times would only invite more undisguised arrogance and gangster-like demands from its American master and this would consequently bring disgrace and ill-fame as colonial stooges and servants.

South Korea should drop an illusion about the U.S. and opt for driving the U.S. imperialist aggression forces out of it and scrapping the "alliance" with the U.S. This is the best option that can be taken by the puppet authorities at present when the mechanical structure of the forces surrounding the Korean peninsula has drastically changed, its fate sealed and an immediate goal of struggle of the south Koreans.
