Production on Increase in Jagang Province

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in Jagang Province, the DPRK are increasing the production of iron and steel, cement, fixtures, teaching materials, school things and daily necessities for the rehabilitation of the flood-hit areas of North Hamgyong Province.

The Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, the September Textile Mill and the Kanggye Pencil Factory carried out their assignment in a short span of time.

Taking the lead in a campaign for increased production of cement, hard glassware, cooking pots and daily necessities are the Chagaphyong Cement Factory and other factories in Huichon and Kanggye cities.

The increase in production has also been heard from machine-building and light industrial factories in other parts of the province.
