Issue of "President's" Private Residence Sparks Off Public Uproar in S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People on October 5 said in an editorial that Ri Jae Man, chief secretary of general affairs at Chongwadae, together with the Intelligence Service is preparing the residence for Park Geun Hye after her resignation.

What matters is that the preparation is being made secretly by the Intelligence Service, the editorial said, adding: If it is true, the issue is likely to become a judicial problem as was the case with Lee Myung Bak.

Furthermore, Chongwadae transferred the man of the IS responsible for the job to other post, aware that an opposition is moving to probe the truth about the case, and is conducting a political offensive against the floor leader of the Kukmin Party who disclosed the problem.

The editorial called for probing the truth behind the case and dealing with it properly.
