General Secretary of Workers' Party of DR Congo Visits DPRK Embassy
Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Jimmy Kikoni, general secretary of the Workers' Party of DR Congo visited the DPRK Embassy in Kinshasa on October 3 on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 71st founding anniversary of the WPK.

He laid a bouquet before a painting depicting President Kim Il Sung standing together with Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.

Paying the highest tribute to Kim Il Sung, the founder of the WPK, and Kim Jong Il, the eternal leader of the WPK, he said:

I once again congratulate respected HE Kim Jong Un on his election as chairman of the WPK.

His election as chairman of the WPK at its 7th Congress marked a decisive landmark in strengthening the WPK and greatly encouraged the world progressive political parties in their struggle for accomplishing the cause of socialism and the cause of global independence.

Through the Seventh Congress of the WPK the DPRK demonstrated once again its unshakable will to hasten under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche to which the great leaders dedicated their whole lives.

The Workers' Party of DR Congo extends invariable support and solidarity to the WPK in its struggle for implementing the important tasks set forth by the Party congress.
