Kimchon Citizens in S. Korea Demand Withdrawal of THAAD Deployment Decision

| Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The Kimchon Action Committee against THAAD Deployment in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on October 5 in protest against the puppet authorities' persistent moves to deploy THAAD, according to the south Korean KBS. Members of the committee left Kimchon on September 24 and walked to Seoul and attended a rally with more than 1,000 citizens of Kimchon and Ronal Buddhists. The participants, holding slogans against THAAD deployment, denounced the authorities for deciding THAAD deployment in Songju Golf Course near Kimchon City. They demanded the authorities immediately withdraw the unjustifiable decision and Minister of Defense Han Min Gu resign. They conveyed a letter of protest reflecting demand of Kimchon citizens to Chongwadae. |
