More Aid Materials Sent to Flood-hit Areas

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in North Phyongan Province, the DPRK are boosting the production of equipment, foodstuff and daily necessities for the rehabilitation of disaster areas of North Hamgyong Province, in hearty response to the appealing call of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Taking the lead in the production campaign are the Rakwon Machine Complex, Sinuiju Shoes Factory, Pakchon Silk Mill, Amnokgang General Foodstuff Factory and Sinuiju Knitwear Factory.

They have already sent several hydraulic excavators, tens of thousand pairs of shoes, thousands pieces of blankets, over 10,000 pieces of underwear and a large amount of food grains and foodstuff to the flood-hit areas.
