Memorial Service for Late Paek Nam Gi Held in Seoul

| Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of Actions for Paek Nam Gi in south Korea held a memorial service for peasant Paek Nam Gi in Seoul on Oct. 8, according to the south Korean paper Korea Economic Daily. The event was attended by more than 3 000 members of the organization and citizens. They declared that the attempts of the prosecution and police to make an autopsy of the body of Paek killed by the water cannon of the fascist police amounted to violence. They demanded that the mastermind of murder be punished and a due apology be made to the family members of the deceased. The participants in the event staged a demonstration in protest against the authorities' brutal crackdown. |
