S. Korean Puppet Police's Suppression Protested
Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of Peasants Associations (Jonnong) strongly protested the puppet police's ruthless suppression of the actions of peasants on October 7, according to the south Korean on-line paper Jaju Sibo.

Jonnong decided to hold a peasants rally in Seoul on Oct. 5 for returning unhusked rice to Chongwadae in protest against the puppet authorities' reneging on their commitment to ensuring rice price and their killing peasant Paek Nam Gi.

That day peasants drove trucks carrying unhusked rice to Seoul.

The police blocked the peasants by describing the unhusked rice as "the one for illegal demonstration".

Enraged at this, members of Jonnong protested this. The police walked away nine of them.

The organization demanded the director of the Police Agency make an immediate apology and compensation.
