S. Korean Ruling Party Accused of Doing Harm to National Language

| Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Recently the puppet ruling party of south Korea called for "setting an example in displaying superiority of Korean language" only to be ridiculed by public. The chief culprits who turned south Korea into the society prevalent with foreign words emphasized "Korean language" and the like and have become vocal about setting "an example" in using it. This is a tragicomedy, indeed. According to data, more than half of 11,790 pieces of information distributed by ministries and departments among media in the recent three years are peppered with foreign words or funny sounding words coined in Chinese characters. |
