Delegations, Personages of Different Countries Visit DPRK Embassies

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- Delegations of political parties, organizations and institutions and personages of different countries paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK embassies in relevant countries from September 28 to October 8 on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the 71st founding anniversary of the WPK and the 90th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

They included the Uganda National Resistance Movement, Uganda People's Congress, Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement, Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Makerere University of Uganda, Lumumbist National Movement of DR Congo, Nepal Communist Party (United Marxist-Leninist), Nepalese National Committee for Remembering President Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal, Nepal Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Policy, a newspaper office of Cambodia, Myanmar Medical Research Institute, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist), secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, president of the Bangladesh People's League, chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea and the director of the Central Secretariat of the Pakistan People's Party.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and full-length picture of them standing together.

Meanwhile, the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar sent floral baskets to the DPRK embassies in their countries on Oct. 7 and 10.
